Our Programs

We believe that all individuals with disabilities have the right to be treated with dignity, grow to their full potential, and enjoy personal interests in an atmosphere of safety, respect, and integrity.

Day Program

Our House’s day program, originally called Bright Futures, is a day habilitation program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and was the first program established under Our House. The program centers on the needs of adults who have a diagnosed disability and their families; creating and following a plan to foster independence based on individual goals.

Residential Program

Our House offers residential services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. These services include both host homes, where individuals live with a paid staff in the staff’s personal home, and preferred care alternatives, where staff provides assistance to individuals living in their own apartment.

Our House strives to build positive relationships among peers and community members and assist individuals in fostering friendships. These supports are a great way to encourage community membership and participation.

Referrals are received from private and public agencies, as well as from individual requests. Our House works with local school district transition programs, families that privately pay, and specific Medicaid waivers.

We provide day habilitation, residential, and respite services for adults with IDD. We focus on building strong relationships and providing excellent support within all our programs.
