Who We Are
The unique make-up of ACRS is what makes us different. We are a family run business full of individuals with both experience and the drive to provide quality care to individuals in the I/DD community. We also have Employes who have family in the I/DD system here in Colorado and believe in helping them follow through with their dreams and goals. Furthermore, we strongly believe in advocating the rights of our individuals in services with us. Collectively our employees have multiple years of experience working with various age groups and demographics in the I/DD field. We have combined our knowledge of the challenges faced to meet the needs of individuals, along with our understanding of business to form a perfect team.
Working Together, in Our Communities
There are 7 to 8 million Americans identified as Intellectually disabled and/or Developmentally disabled. Greater than 25% of that population is supported by publicly funded programs that assist in housing, employment, education, healthcare, and service coordination. Programs like Residential Services, Supported Living Services, Children’s Extensive Support, and Supported Community Connections.
Alternative Choice Residential Services is here to help service the needs of the individuals, that so often become lost in the system. We seek to enrich and bring quality to the lives of every individual and their families throughout the community in which we serve. Alternative Choice Residential Services is steadfast in our goal to promote, develop, and protect the well-being of the people we serve.
ACRS will make decisions and perform services based on the sole needs of the people we serve. Our main guiding principles include goodwill, community awareness, person-centered ideas, compassion, support, teamwork, responsibility, and safety as our guide to the individuals we serve.
